I live in rural Millstadt with my wife and four children. I was raised in a small town in Southern Illinois, where I learned the value of hard work and community. After high school, I joined the U.S. Army. I proudly served in Washington, D.C., and completed a combat deployment in Afghanistan. After returning home, I earned my bachelor’s degree with honors from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. I then worked in state government in Springfield. While working full-time, I pursued both my law degree and MBA at the University of Illinois in Champaign. My military service remains one of the greatest honors of my life—and it continues to guide my personal and professional mission.
Service to others is a constant in my life. My wife and I are foster parents, offering stability and care to children in need.
